Millwall FC has made a retrospective planning application for buildings that were given temporary planning permission in 2021.
The temporary structure should have been removed and the land restored on or before 27 May 2025.
The reason stated for this was:
"The type of building is not such as the local planning authority is prepared to approve, other than for a limited period, in view of its appearance in the interest of the visual amenity of the area and in accordance with Policy 15 High quality design for Lewisham of the Core Strategy (June 2011), DM Policy 30 Urban Design and local character of the Development Management Local Plan (November 2014) and Policy G3 of the London Plan (2021)."
